ON THE THEME:
While we will accept and consider all submissions (from all poets of all backgrounds and levels of experience), we particularly encourage contributions that resonate with this year's theme. The aim is to reflect on our contemporary challenges, provoke thought, and, most importantly, inspire change and offer solace.
We look forward to your submissions and the diverse perspectives and insights you bring to this year's theme!

Last year, we were fortunate to receive numerous original poems, leading to the decision to publish a collection that highlighted the talent we encountered. Each contribution was complemented by an author`s note of approx. 150 words offering deeper insights into the creative pieces, and sprinkled in were also a few illustrations by Pavol Šima-Juriček.
We are happy to announce that this year, we plan to expand this project by publishing a second volume of original poems, recommendations, essays and illustrations. We kindly urge all contributors to ensure the quality of their submissions to increase their chances of being considered.
We look forward to showcasing a new array of creative talents in our upcoming volume. If you have any additional questions, please contact egyorgy@ukf.sk.
